§ 71.65  UNIFORM SYSTEM OF CITATION.
   (A)   Pursuant to I.C. 9-21-1-3, the town may enforce certain traffic violations as local ordinance violations. The traffic code of the town provides for specific infractions and other violations which may be in addition to or separate from the traffic code set forth in I.C. Title 9.

      (2)   For example, a citation for speeding shall be enforceable under this chapter if the citation provides that the offense of speeding has occurred, giving the actual and posted speeds and the location of the violation.
      (3)   A citation is valid and enforceable under this subchapter without a citation to the specific section of this code.
   (C)   The fines and costs for the violations as established by the Town Council from time to time in accordance with § 71.99 of this chapter shall be assessed for any citation which is issued pursuant to this subchapter.
