6-3-2: STOP AND YIELD INTERSECTIONS:
   A.   The chief of police is hereby authorized to designate, with the approval of the board of trustees, by proper official signs, any street or portion thereof as a through street and requiring that all vehicles stop before entering the same, or designating any intersection as a stop or yield intersection and requiring all vehicles to stop or yield at one or more entrances to the intersection. No vehicle shall be driven into or upon streets or intersections where a stop sign has been erected, without first being brought to a full stop before entering the crosswalk on the near side of the intersection, or if there is no crosswalk, before entering the intersection.
   B.   The chief of police shall cause a schedule of stop and yield intersections to be filed with the village clerk and updated whenever a change is made, provided that any change in the schedule shall not become effective until thirty (30) days after the revised schedule is filed with the village clerk and approved by the board of trustees.
