(A) Except as hereinafter provided in this section, the following streets and parts of streets within the Village are hereby declared to constitute through streets for the purpose of this chapter:
Addison Road.
Audubon Road between the northerly line of Longcommon Road and a point one hundred feet (100') northerly of said line.
Barrypoint Road.
Desplaines Avenue.
East Burlington Street.
East Quincy Street.
Forest Avenue.
Golf Road between Ridgewood Road and Parkview Avenue.
Harlem Avenue.
Kimbark Road.
Longcommon Road.
North and South Delaplaine Road.
Ogden Avenue.
Ridgewood Road.
Riverside Road.
Selborne Road at its intersection with Southcote Road.
Selborne Road between a point one hundred feet (100') northerly of Longcommon Road and a point one hundred feet (100') southerly of Longcommon Road.
Woodside Road.
First Avenue.
26th Street.

(B) The Village Manager is authorized and directed to designate various street intersections within the Village as stop intersections, and shall have appropriate signs posted by the Public Works Department at such intersections. A list of designated stop intersections shall be maintained on file with the Village Clerk. (Ord. 2988, 5-3-2018)
(C) The following alleys and park roads within the Village are hereby declared to be stop intersections with the stop sign or stop signs posted on the corner or corners indicated to stop traffic traveling in the direction indicated.
Alley between Berkeley Road and Longcommon Road:
Northbound on southeast corner at Berkeley Road.
Southbound on northwest corner at Longcommon Road.
Alley between Groveland Avenue and Lincoln Avenue:
Northbound on southeast corner at Park Place.
Southbound on northwest corner at Forest Avenue.
Alley between Kent Road and Lindberg Road:
Northbound on southeast corner at Kent Road.
Southbound on northwest corner at Lindberg Road.
Alley between Kimbark Road and Lincoln Avenue:
Northbound on southeast corner at Park Place.
Southbound on northwest corner at Forest Avenue.
Alley between Lawton Road and East Quincy Street:
Northbound on southeast corner at East Quincy Street.
Southbound on northwest corner at Lawton Road.
Alley between Lindberg Road and York Road:
Northbound on southeast corner at Lindberg Road.
Southbound on northwest corner at Kent Road.
Alley between Longcommon Road and Kent Road:
Eastbound on southwest corner at Harlem Avenue.
Indian Gardens Ball Park Road:
Northbound on southeast corner at Fairbank Road.
Indian Gardens Scout Cabin Road:
Eastbound on southwest corner at Fairbank Road.
(D) The Village Manager is authorized and directed to erect suitable stop signs in accordance with the stop sign intersection designations set forth in subsections (B) and (C) of this section. (Ord. 1101, 10-14-1968)
