9-1-12: MANNER OF PARKING, PARALLEL, ANGLE:
   (A)   Except as provided in subsection (B) of this section, no person owning, controlling, driving or operating any vehicle shall permit such vehicle to stand in any public street or alley in the village in any manner other than parallel to the curb or the right hand side of such street or alley in the direction of authorized traffic movement and placed so that neither of the two (2) right wheels nearest the curb shall be farther than twelve inches (12") from the curb, or the edge of the street where there is no curb, except on one-way streets where either the right or left wheels of the vehicle shall be within twelve inches (12") of the edge of the curb or street, and except also on streets marked for angle parking.
   (B)   The village manager is authorized to require vehicles to be parked at an angle with the curb of thirty five degrees (35°) or more at places where the heavy demand for parking space, width of roadway and traffic conditions make such parking desirable and safe. The village manager shall cause the parts of each roadway adjacent to the curb, where parking at an angle is required by this section, to be marked with suitable lines or signs indicating the limits and direction of parking. No person shall park any vehicle in any manner other than between such lines and at the angle indicated by such lines, with the appropriate front wheel nearest the curb, or edge of the street where there is no curb, being no farther than six inches (6") from the edge of such curb or street.
