Upon the basis of the traffic and engineering investigations and studies accomplished by the administrative staff of the Village, the Police Department and the traffic engineering consulting firm of Paul C. Box & Associates, dated respectively July 1972 and November 1972, the following speed limits are herein determined to be the absolute maximum reasonable and safe speed limits for vehicular travel on the streets and roadways in the Village, hereinafter designated:
(A) Twenty Five Miles Per Hour: The absolute maximum vehicular speed limit on the following named streets and roadways within the Village shall be twenty five (25) miles per hour:

(B) Twenty Miles Per Hour: The absolute maximum vehicular speed limit shall be twenty (20) miles per hour on the following streets or portions thereof:
Akenside Road, from its intersection with Longcommon Road to the intersection of Northwood Road during hours when school is in session.
Barrypoint Road, throughout its length; and providing further, that Barrypoint Road shall be designated as a "school zone" during the hours when school is in session, from its intersection with Bloomingbank Road to its intersection with Millbridge and Fairbank Roads.
Blythe Road, from its intersection with Shenstone Road to the intersection of East Grove Road during hours when school is in session.
Burling Road, throughout its length.
East Burlington Road, from its intersection with Longcommon Road to the intersection of Cowley Road during hours when school is in session.
Fairbank Road, from Bloomingbank Road south and east to Coonley Road.
Golf Road, from Ridgewood Road North to its terminus, during hours when high school is in session.
Herrick Road, from its intersection with Cowley Road to the intersection of Longcommon Road during hours when school is in session.
Herrick Road, from its intersection with Longcommon Road east to its intersection with Cowley Road, during hours when school is in session.
Kent Road, from its intersection with Arlington Road to the intersection of East Grove Road during hours when school is in session.
Leesley Road, from its intersection with Kent Road to the intersection of York Road during hours when school is in session.
Longcommon Road from its intersection with East Burlington Road to the intersection of Addison Road during hours when school is in session.
Loudon Road, from its intersection with Northgate Road to the intersection of Southcote Road during hours when school is in session.
Michaux Road, from its intersection with Delaplaine Road to the intersection of Akenside Road during hours when school is in session.
Northwood Road, from its north intersection with Bartram Road to the intersection of Southcote Road during hours when school is in session.
Nuttall Road, from its intersection with Northwood Road to a point three hundred feet (300') north of the intersection of Selbourne Road during hours when school is in session.
Park Place, from its intersection of Kimbark Road west to the intersection of Lincoln Road during hours when school is in session.
Repton Road from its intersection with Northgate Road to the intersection of Southcote Road during hours when school is in session.
Southcote Road, from its intersection with Northwood Road to the east intersection of Repton Road during hours when school is in session.
Woodside Road, from its intersection with Longcommon Road northerly to its intersection with the south line produced of Park Place, during hours when school is in session.

(C) Signs: The village manager shall cause to be erected and maintained appropriate signs at proper places along such designated streets and roadways giving notice of the maximum speed limits established herein. (Ord. 1199, 12-18-1972)
