8-7-15: SERVICE PIPE MAINTENANCE:
   (A)   Owner Responsibility: The owner of any premises to which sewerage services are supplied shall be responsible for maintaining the service pipes in good repair and working order and free from blockage or obstruction between trunk line connection point and the connection point of the building on the premises, and the Village shall not be liable for any damage or loss resulting from the breakage or blockage of any such service pipe.
   (B)   Compliance With Regulations: If infiltration or inflow has occurred, it must be remedied to meet Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRDGC), Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA), State and Federal regulations. This shall include, but not be limited to, maintenance such as cleaning; rodding due to root blockage; sewer pipe or manhole replacement; sewer pipe or manhole lining; sewer pipe or manhole joint sealing and patching; and disconnection of stormwater inlets, downspouts, and footing drain connections. Disconnection of stormwater inlets and footing drains shall apply to all those constructed after the date hereof and those not specifically permitted prior to this said date.
   (C)   Disconnection Of Inflow Sources On Combined Sewer System: "Storm sewerage", as defined in subsection 8-7-7(H) of this chapter, discharges on the combined sewer system shall be removed from the combined sewer system and be connected to a storm sewer within three hundred sixty five (365) days of a separate storm sewer becoming available within two hundred feet (200') of the building.
