Insofar as permitted by law, no charge shall be made for the first two thousand (2,000) cubic feet of water supplied during any quarterly billing period to every building used exclusively as a place of public worship. For water supplied to any such building in any quarter, in excess of two thousand (2,000) cubic feet, the rates prescribed in Section 8-6-2 of this Chapter shall be charged.
