8-2-10: BARRIERS AROUND STREET OPENINGS:
The permittee shall protect traffic and pedestrians by surrounding such opening with proper barriers and by maintaining thereon, from sundown to sunrise, lighted red lamps or equal warning devices which are plainly visible from a distance of one hundred feet (100') in all directions. Such lights shall be maintained until the pavement is repaired. (1965 Code, Sec. 26.17)
