8-2-6: CERTAIN VEHICLES PROHIBITED:
   (A)   A "tractor" is hereby defined as a self-propelled vehicle commonly used for commercial purposes, which is used to haul one or more vehicles. A "trailer" is defined as a vehicle which is not self-propelled and which is attached to a tractor when operated.
   (B)   No tractor, trailer, motor truck, road roller, steam shovel, concrete mixer, traction engine or like vehicle on which any tire or surface in contact with the roadway has sharp or uneven surfaces, or has spikes or cleats or projections attached thereto, which will cause damage to the pavement, shall be propelled along, over or across any pavement in any public street or alley; provided, however, that nothing in this Section shall be construed as prohibiting the use of antiskid chains when necessary.
