7-2-2: RECEPTACLES:
   (A)   All rubbish shall be placed into receptacles that are designed for such purpose, are waterproof, are constructed of durable metal or heavy plastic material, have a tight fitting cover, have handles suitable for lifting by one worker, and contain thirty (30) gallons' or less capacity. Alternatively, rubbish may be placed into contractor provided wheeled carts. Said receptacles shall be placed on the ground to the rear of or within twenty five feet (25') of the rear of the building and at all times kept covered with tight metal or plastic lids. No landscape waste shall be deposited in receptacles used for rubbish.
   (B)   All heavy items of junk or trash including machinery, furniture and heavy appliances shall be placed at the curb.
   (C)   Items for collection shall be placed at the curb no sooner than four o'clock (4:00) P.M. of the day preceding a scheduled collection day. Prior to this time, it shall be kept out of plain view from the street.
   (D)   No person shall leave any receptacle, container or other waste related materials on the parkway or at the curb of any premises after seven o'clock (7:00) P.M. on the day that a scheduled collection has been accomplished. (Ord. 2393, 1-21-2002)
