7-1-13: CONSTRUCTION AND LANDSCAPING ACTIVITIES; TIME LIMITS:
   (A)   Except as otherwise provided in this Code, no person or commercial or business entity shall use construction tools or power equipment, or engage in any building or construction activities requiring the use of any equipment that creates a loud and disturbing noise, or use gasoline-powered landscape maintenance equipment, including, without limitation, leaf blowers, lawn mowers, chain saws, trimmers, edgers, mechanical tree or brush grinding equipment, or other mechanical landscape maintenance devices except between the hours of seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. and eight o'clock (8:00) P.M. Monday through Friday, eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. to eight o'clock (8:00) P.M. on Saturday, and nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. to eight o'clock (8:00) P.M. on Sunday. Notwithstanding the foregoing, no commercial or business entity shall use construction tools or power equipment, or engage in any building or construction activities requiring the use of any equipment that creates a loud and disturbing noise, or use gasoline-powered landscape maintenance equipment at any time on Sunday.
   (B)   No commercial or business entity shall engage in any building, construction, repair, restoration or landscaping activities on the following Federal holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
   (C)   The restrictions of this section shall not be applicable to situations requiring emergency repairs related to health or safety of persons or property. Once the emergency has been remedied, the property owner shall comply with this section. (Ord. 2957, 7-6-2017)
