6-1-3: BUSINESS PLACES:
   (A)   Picketing Places of Business:
      1.   Definitions: As used in this Section the following are defined as follows:
   EMPLOYEE: A person shall be deemed to be an "employee" of the owner or proprietor of any business or place of business when, and only when:
         (a)   He is, at the time to which reference is made, in the employment of said owner or proprietor, or
         (b)   He was, until the inception of a then- existing dispute between said owner or proprietor and his employees concerning terms or conditions of employment, in the employment of said owner or proprietor, and said employment has been terminated, at the instance of either employee or employer, because, or as a result of, such dispute.
   PLACE OF BUSINESS, OWNER OR PROPRIETOR: The words "place of business" shall be taken to include not only a place where any business is permanently carried on, but also any property upon which business or construction or other work is being carried on temporarily by the owner or tenant of such property or by or under the supervision of an independent contractor; and the words "owner or proprietor" as used with reference to such business or place of business, shall be taken to include either or both such owner or tenant (of the business or property) or such independent contractor.
UNLAWFUL PICKETING: The phrase "unlawful picketing" is defined as: The standing, sitting or walking on any street or other public place in the Village, or the display or distribution on such street or public place of placards, signs, dodgers or handbills or any written, typewritten or printed matter, by any person or persons not employees of the owner or proprietor of any business or place of business, or who have no dispute with said owner or proprietor concerning terms or conditions of employment, for the purpose or with the result of:
         (a)   Compelling or persuading any employee of said owner or proprietor to join or refrain from joining any organization, or to quit the service of such employer; or
         (b)   Compelling or persuading said owner or proprietor to employ only persons who are, or are not, members of any organization; or
         (c)   Compelling or persuading said owner or proprietor to discharge any person then in his employ or to employ any person not then in his employ; or
         (d)   Preventing said owner or proprietor from, or hindering him in, making or receiving delivery of goods; or
         (e)   Interfering with said owner or proprietor in the carrying on of his business; or
         (f)   Dissuading any person from, or influencing any person against, patronizing the business or place of business of said owner or proprietor; or
         (g)   Making or publicizing any representation, oral or written, that said owner or proprietor is unfair to his employees or to any organization or engages in any unfair labor practice or any similar representation. (1965 Code, Sec. 50.01)
      2.   Unlawful Picketing Prohibited: No person shall engage or procure others to engage in unlawful picketing in the Village. (1965 Code, Sec. 50.02)
   (B)   Amusement Business Prohibited:
      1.   Billiard, Pool or Pocket Billiards: No person shall operate for hire or keep or conduct for profit any billiard, pool or pocket billiard table within the Village. (1965 Code, Sec. 52.01)
      2.   Public Roller Skating Rink, Ice Skating Rink or Dance Hall: No person shall carry on within the limits of the Village the business of conducting a public roller skating rink, ice skating rink or a public dance hall, for which a fee is charged. (1965 Code, Sec. 52.02)
