No person shall wilfully break down, weaken, destroy, deface, alter or remove any bar, fence, plank, board, rail, post, wall, stone or barricade of any sort, or public notice, traffic sign or signal or placard which shall have been erected or posted by order of the president and board of trustees, or shall direct, aid or abet the doing of same.
