The Department of Fire/Rescue and Emergency Services shall have the power and it shall be its duty to carry on a campaign of public education and to prepare and publish newspaper articles and other forms of publicity to be distributed in the Village, calling the attention of the public to the danger of certain practices as conducive to causing fires in the Village and by means of public demonstrations, exhibits and meetings to inform and educate the public in the latest methods used to prevent the occurrence of fires.
