The Fire Chief shall administer the fire inspection provisions of the Fire Prevention Code and other pertinent fire inspection duties required by the provisions of this Code or directed by the Department of Fire/Rescue and Emergency Services. He shall establish schools of instruction and train and qualify fire inspectors in their duties. He shall appoint a person or persons to take charge of and be responsible for such training and inspection duties. The base fee for inspection shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00).
