4-1-4: PERMIT FEES:
Every applicant for a permit shall pay the Village with his/her application the following fees: (Ord. 2877, 7-16-2015)
   (A)   Construction, Alteration And Repairs: For construction, alteration and repairs of buildings and structures including, but not limited to, fences, swimming pools, private driveways, roofing, siding and gutters:

1.75 percent of the value of construction1. In no event shall the fee be less than $100.00. In setting a fee based on the value of construction, the Assistant Village Manager or his or her designee may consider any of the following:

(a)
An estimate furnished by the permit applicant;
 
 
(b)
An affidavit from the owner or the owner's agent; or
 
 
(c)
A calculation to be made by the Assistant Village Manager or his or her designee based on the most recent edition of "RS Means Square Foot Costs" book.

   (B)   Demolition Of Buildings:

   (C)   Electrical Installations And Inspections: The fees for the inspection of wiring of any building or of any electrical apparatus to be paid to the Village shall be as follows:

   (D)   Plumbing Fees: Any person desiring to install fixtures in any new building or structure, or to make any extensions to or alterations in plumbing fixtures or connections in any existing building or structure, before beginning any work, shall obtain a permit and shall pay to the Village, for the inspection thereof, the following fees:

For each required inspection of plumbing equipment installed or altered. Some project types may require more than a single inspection

   (F)   Sidewalks: One percent (1%) of the cost of the work with a minimum fee of thirty dollars ($30.00). (Ord. 2877, 7-16-2015)
   (G)   HVAC Equipment Installation:

1.75 percent of the value of construction for both new systems or units, and repairs or replacements1. In no event shall the fee be less than $100.00 for new systems and units, and $75.00 for repairs or replacements. In addition to the building permit fee, a plan review fee will be imposed pursuant to title 1, chapter 21, "Professional Fees", of this Code, when applicable, to defray the costs of contracting with independent professionals to review permit applications for compliance with applicable Building Codes. Such fees will be billed at the actual out of pocket costs incurred by the Village for such reviews, and the following deposits shall be required in advance of such reviews in order to ensure adequate reimbursements to the Village of such out of pocket costs:

Note:
      1.   These fees shall be treated as deposits and shall be utilized to cover the direct costs to the Village in processing the application, excluding plan reviews which shall be billed separately. Any additional deposit amount, however, that remains after all the direct costs have been finalized and paid from said zoning fee deposit amount, and the disposition of the zoning request has been finalized, shall be refunded to the applicant.
In addition to the zoning fee/deposit, a plan review fee and professional fees will be imposed, when applicable, to defray the costs of contracting with independent professionals to review zoning applications for compliance with applicable codes and for other work associated with zoning matters.
