A license is required to operate a vacation rental, as defined in this chapter, within the Village. Licenses shall be issued by the Village Clerk for a period of one year from the date of issuance, unless sooner revoked, and may thereafter be renewed for successive one-year periods. No new vacation rental license shall be issued unless first authorized by the Board of Trustees as a special use following a public hearing, consistent with the requirements of the Village's Zoning Ordinance.
