3-16-6: NOTICE REGULATING SOLICITING:
Any person owning or occupying any premises within the village may post a notice indicating that solicitors are not invited at said premises. Any such notice shall be given in the following manner: A weatherproof card approximately three inches by four inches (3" x 4") in size shall be exhibited upon or near the main entrance door to the premises indicating as follows:
   NO SOLICITORS INVITED.
The letters shall be at least one-third inch (1/3") in height. For the purpose of uniformity, the cards shall be provided by the chief of the police department to persons requesting same, at cost.
Such cards so exhibited shall constitute sufficient notice to all solicitors that they are not welcome. (Ord. 2259, 11-16-1998; amd. Ord. 2506, 8-16-2004)
