All officers, elected or appointed, except the president and clerk, shall be commissioned by warrant signed by the president and attested by the clerk under the corporate seal. The commission shall be substantially the following form:
Official Commission Village of Riverside, Illinois. Greeting: having been duly elected or appointed to the office of in and for the said Village, in the County of Cook and State of Illinois, for the term from , 19 , to 19 , and until his successor shall have been duly elected or appointed and qualified.
