The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to the sale of alcoholic liquor by any apothecary or druggist upon a written order or prescription signed by a physician regularly licensed and practicing his profession, provided such order or prescription shall be retained and kept on file by such druggist or apothecary open to the inspection of the Local Liquor Control Commission and Chief of Police of the Village.
