2-17-25: RESISTING AN OFFICER:
It shall be unlawful for any person to resist any member of the Police Department or any other person duly authorized to perform police duty, in the discharge of his duties, or to in any way interfere with, prevent or hinder him in the discharge of his duty as such member, or to offer or endeavor to do so, or to in any manner assist any person in the custody of any member of the Police Department to escape or to attempt to escape from such custody or attempt to rescue any person from custody.
