The following described or named areas within the public parks of this village are set aside and designated as public park and recreation areas and are under the jurisdiction, operation, maintenance, and control of the board:
(A) Harrington Park, including lots 597, 598, and 599 in Block 18 in the Addition to the Second Division of Riverside in Section 36, Township 39 North, Range 12, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
(B) Leesley Park (also known as "Blythe Park").
(C) Longcommon Ballpark (also known as "Big Ball Park").
(D) The Longcommon tot lot area bounded by Nuttall Road, Longcommon Road, and the Shenstone Road extension (also known as "Turtle Park").
(E) The Swan Pond floodplain area and the area known as the "Sled Hill".
(F) The Indian Gardens scout cabin area.
(G) The Indian Gardens ballpark, tennis, and tot lot area.
(H) Patriots Park bounded by 26th Street, Parkway Road, and the railroad tracks.
The board of trustees shall set aside and designate all portions of the public parks in this village which shall hereafter be used as public park and recreation areas. (Ord. 2820, 6-20-2013)
