A Plan Commission is hereby created, to be formally known as the Planning and Zoning Commission. The Planning and Zoning Commission shall consist of seven (7) members, to be appointed by the President with the consent of the Board of Trustees. Each member of the Planning and Zoning Commission shall serve without compensation for a term of five (5) years or until his or her successor has been duly appointed and qualified. The initial appointment may be made for shorter terms. These initial terms shall be staggered to assure that no more than three (3) members' terms expire in the same year. The members of the Planning and Zoning Commission shall also serve as the Village's Zoning Board of Appeals. (Ord. 2968, 10-5-2017)
