(A) The duties of the Clerk of the village and the Treasurer of the village shall be combined into one office, which office shall be known as the Clerk-Treasurer, and which combination shall be effective on the effective date of this resolution. The Clerk-Treasurer shall perform the duties provided by law for the Clerk and the Treasurer. All laws pertaining to the Clerk and to the Treasurer shall be construed to apply to the Clerk-Treasurer.
(B) The Clerk-Treasurer shall be elected for a term of 4 years, commencing on the first day of April next after his or her election.
(C) The Clerk-Treasurer shall be paid a salary as established by Ordinance of Council per month during each month in which the Clerk-Treasurer shall hold office.

(D) He or she shall be an elector of the municipality.
