1-11-4: ATTORNEY FOR BOARD OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS:
The Village Attorney shall act as the Attorney for the Board of Local Improvements 1 . He shall attend all meetings of the Board of Local Improvements and supervise the keeping of a record of the minutes of said meeting. He shall prepare or supervise the preparation of all necessary instruments, resolutions, minutes of meetings, notices, preparation of records, recommendations, estimates and ordinances, in connection with any proposed local improvement, and shall prepare all contracts and contractor's bonds. It shall be his duty to institute all court proceedings in connection with the levying of special assessments or special tax proceedings for all local improvements, and prosecute said proceedings to their conclusion. He shall receive additional compensation for work in connection with local improvements, as the President and Board shall determine, based upon the fair and reasonable values of his services.
