The city administrator is hereby authorized to promulgate rules and/or regulations, not in conflict with this chapter, to supplement and specify in more detail requirements relating to special events, provided that such rules or regulations are approved by the city council. Failure to observe any rule or regulation adopted pursuant to this section shall be a violation of this chapter and a class B misdemeanor resulting in a fine and/or imprisonment and the organizers being suspended from hosting a special event in Riverdale City for a year, or longer if determined appropriate by council consensus. Any rules and/or regulations adopted under this provision shall be available at the city recorder's office. (Ord. 855, 5-6-2014)
