The purposes of this chapter are:
A. To regulate retail sales from portable carts; and
B. To provide for the orderly establishment of vending cart locations; and
C. To regulate the site areas, size, mobility, safety, appearance and design of portable carts so as not to unreasonably discriminate among providers of functionally equivalent services; and
D. To establish safety standards that will help mitigate potential impacts related to operators and clientele. (Ord. 604, 2-19-2002)
