The members of the reserve police unit shall be 21 years of age or older at the time of their appointment, and shall immediately, upon appointment, enroll in all police training and schooling, as required by the state for a full-time peace officer, and shall be subject to such other requirements as provided by rules and regulations as provided herein. The village shall reimburse, upon proper voucher, three reserve members for the required training that has been paid by the trainee. Said payment shall begin six months after the completion of said training and shall be equally divided during the following six months. This being contingent upon the member being a current part of the reserve police unit of the village.
