§ 1202.14 INTERPRETATION, PURPOSES AND CONFLICT.
   In interpreting and applying the provisions of this chapter, they shall be held to the minimum requirements for the promotion of the public health, safety, morals, comfort and general welfare. It is not intended by this chapter to interfere with or abrogate or annul any ordinances, resolutions, rules, regulations or permits previously adopted or issued, and not in conflict with any of the provisions of this chapter relative to the use of buildings, structures or land, nor is it intended by this chapter to interfere with, abrogate or annul any easements, covenants or other agreements between parties; provided, however, that whenever this chapter imposes a greater restriction upon the use of buildings, structures or land, or requires greater building lines, then the provisions of this chapter shall control.
