Any public utility furnishing services to residents of Rising Sun, Indiana, may be authorized by the Street Commissioner to prune and trim street trees as may be necessary to maintain a safe operation of its business. Such pruning and trimming shall be done in the manner and methods prescribed by the Commission. Notices of the rules and regulations adopted by the Commission pertaining to public utilities shall be sent by certified mail by the Commission to each utility servicing the residents of the city at least once every calendar year. This section does not apply to the Rising Sun Municipal Utilities.
