The Rising Sun-Ohio County Port Authority shall be governed by a six-member Board of Directors, three of whom shall be appointed by the Mayor, with the consent and advice of the City Council, and three of whom shall be appointed by the Board of County Commissioners, all in accordance with IC 8-10-5-5.
(A) No more than two of the three directors appointed by the County Commissioners shall be of the same political affiliation and no more than two of the three directors appointed by the Mayor shall be of the same political affiliation.
(B) Each director shall be entitled to receive from the Port Authority compensation and reasonable expenses as the Board of Directors may determine, when funds become available, provided no director shall receive a greater commission than any elected official of the city or county.
