(A) Yard sales, garage sales, flea markets, and the like are permitted, provided the following conditions are met:
(1) No merchandise other than that normally found in the household may be sold.
(2) The sale shall not exceed three days.
(3) No more than three sales per year are allowed at any one location.
(4) The sale is restricted to the owner or occupant of the premises on which the sale is being conducted.
(5) All persons having a yard sale shall apply for a permit at least one week prior to the first day of the sale. The application is to be made at the office of the Clerk-Treasurer. The city shall provide all applicants with a copy of this chapter.
(6) A fine of $50 may be imposed for the first violation of this section and a fine of $100 for the second violation and each subsequent violation in the same calendar year.
