(A) Pursuant to P.L. 176-2009, the amount of the bond the city must maintain to cover the faithful performance of the duties of the office of Clerk- Treasurer is increased based on the amount of funds received by the city in accordance with P.L. 176-2009 and this section.
(B) The Mayor and the Clerk-Treasurer shall obtain a blanket bond or crime insurance policy endorsed to include the faithful performance of the Clerk-Treasurer and all other employees of any city department who handle money in an amount the Clerk-Treasurer and the Mayor deem appropriate to be included in the bond, and in accordance with P.L. 176-2009.
