(A) Pursuant to IC 9-22-1-30(b), there is hereby created the City Abandoned Vehicle Fund which shall be a revolving fund, and all monies paid to the city for the cost of removal, storage and disposal of abandoned vehicles shall be placed in such fund and in no other place.
(B) Such funds shall also have added to it such moneys as may be appropriated by the Common Council of the city and such moneys also shall not revert but shall remain in the Abandoned Vehicle Fund.
(C) Pursuant to IC 9-22-1-30(a)(1), the total charges for an abandoned vehicle, including the towing charges and storage charges, may not exceed $2,000. This equates to a maximum of $500 for towing charges and $1,500 for storage charges as limited by § 90.07(B) of this chapter and IC 9-22-1-4(b).
