(A) It shall be unlawful to operate any vehicle on any street or alley now or hereafter designated a one-way street or alley in any direction other than the one so designated. The Street Commissioner, Police Chief or any other person designated by the Mayor or City Council shall post or cause to be posted suitable signs for these streets and alleys and stop intersections.
