§ 70.12 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC AND PARKING REGULATIONS.
   The Mayor, the City Engineer, and the Chief of Police are jointly delegated authority to regulate and control traffic and parking within the city, in addition to and/or contrary with the traffic and parking regulations in effect by ordinances(s) of the City Council. This authority may only be exercised by unanimous agreement of all three as to the action to be taken. The duration of the action shall not extend beyond 60 days. To effect the action taken, the action must be described in writing and filed with the Clerk- Treasurer; and proper signage sufficient to give reasonable notice must be posted or displayed. Notice to the public by local newspaper and radio is encouraged but not required.
