A decision made by the Board under this chapter may be appealed to the City Council by submitting a written appeal within ten days from the date of the decision. The written appeal should be addressed to the Mayor of Rising Sun, Indiana, and sent by certified mail. Copies of the appeal letter shall be sent by certified mail to the Chairman of the Board. In considering the appeal, the City Council may affirm, modify, extend, or overrule the decision of the Board in a manner that is consistent with the provisions of this chapter.
