§ 53.40 PRECONSTRUCTION PLANNING.
   (A)   Prior to the beginning of any construction project, detailed scaled maps and plans must be submitted to the Utilities Water Department. Plans must outline the proposed distribution system, showing all mains and fire hydrants, as well as valve locations. Further, planning of the proposed project should consist of, but not be limited to:
      (1)   Location of other utility service lines, (gas and telephone underground);
      (2)   Staking of line and grade;
      (3)   Determination of material quantities;
      (4)   The acquisition of all necessary material;
      (5)   Planning and arrangements for the necessary tools, equipment, and personnel to effectively complete the installation;
      (6)   Obtaining necessary barricades, signs, and safety equipment for safety on and around the project site; and,
      (7)   Obtaining proper easements and permits from property owners and governmental agencies.
   (B)   Failure to comply with division (A) of this section will delay construction.
