§ 53.25 NON-RECURRING CHARGES.
   (A)   Tap fees.
      (1)   Each user, at the time user is connected with the water works systems shall pay charges to cover the following costs: excavating and tapping the main; furnishing and installing service pipe from the main to the lot line; furnishing and installing corporation and stop cocks; and furnishing and installing meter crock (if outside), yoke, and meter.
      (2)   The charges shall be as follows:
         (a)   Residential ¾" tap or less    $1,500
         (b)   1" tap    $2,000
         (c)   Greater than 1 inch   $425 plus all materials
      (3)   Water tap fee includes plans review and construction inspection, all materials and work, including installation of water main tap, water service line to the meter box, meter box, meter setting, water meter and restoration of excavation including paving is paid for by the owner requesting the service. Meter box is placed at a location approved the Rising Sun Municipal Utility. Per unit, per living unit, per trailer site or actual cost per connection.
   (B)   Temporary users. Water furnished to temporary users such as contractors, circuses, and the like shall be charged on the basis of the metered gallon rates hereinbefore set forth as estimated and established by the Waterworks Superintendent.
   (C)   Collection and deferred payment charges. All bills for water services not paid within 15 days from the due date thereof, as stated in such bills, shall be subject to the collection or deferred payment charges of 10% on the first $3 and 3% on the excess over $3.
   (D)   Service call charges.
      During working hours (Monday through Friday)   $10
   (E)   Bad check charge.
      Check returned by bank for insufficient funds   $30
   (F)   Disinfection.
      Disinfection of line   $200
   (G)   Bacteriological samples.
      Bacteriological sampling (per sample)   $100
      (Two sample minimum required)
   (H)   Security deposit.
      Security deposit fee   $75
   (I)   Water hauling mechanism. Minimum of $1 up to 275 gallons.
