§ 53.09 RIGHT TO SHUT OFF SUPPLY.

   (A)   The city Municipal Water Department reserves the right to shut off the supply of water without notice, for any of the following reasons:

      (1)   Repairs;

      (2)   For want of supply;

      (3)   For interference with any of the Water Department meters, equipment, or connections thereto;

      (4)   For failure to comply with the terms of the contract;

      (5)   For violation of any rules and regulations applicable to the service;

      (6)   For nonpayment of any bill when due;

      (7)   For any unlawful or unsafe condition.

   (B)   The City Municipal Utility Water Department shall have the right to enforce any contract notwithstanding any such discontinuation of service.
