(A) Large items, excluded from the definition of trash, will be collected weekly as a part of the city's trash collection service.
(1) One large item per household is allowed, unless the resident purchases a special sticker for additional large items.
(2) All normal large household items, such as furniture, stoves, water heaters and other appliances, will be acceptable for this collection.
(3) Refrigerators, air conditioners and other items that normally contain CFCs (freon) will not be collected, unless documentation is provided that the CFCs have been properly removed.
(B) No hazardous materials, lead acid batteries, tires or any other items prohibited by federal, state, county or local laws or regulations will be accepted. (Ord. 1993-05, passed 7-26-93; Am. Ord. 2004-13, passed 10-7-04)
