(A) When requested by a resident, the city may provide for the collection of residential recyclable yard waste materials from residences.
(B) (1) Recyclable yard waste materials shall be placed in biodegradable paper bags, available at area stores, or reusable containers like plastic trash cans.
(2) Designated residential yard waste shall be placed at curbside, alleyside, or other locations as determined by the City Street Commissioner.
(C) Residential recyclable yard waste materials shall not be commingled with other solid waste or recyclables.
(D) The City Board of Works will establish a schedule each fall for the exclusive pickup of leaves (not grass or other yard waste), which may to be raked loosely into city street gutters just prior to scheduled fall leaf collection dates.
(E) The burning of trash, grass or leaves within the city is prohibited.
