ORDINANCE 2017-17
An Ordinance enacting and adopting a supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Rising Sun, Indiana.
WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio has completed the 2016 Supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Rising Sun, Indiana which contains all ordinances of a general nature enacted since the prior Supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Rising Sun, Indiana and incorporates Ordinance 2014-2 through Ordinance 2016-29; and
WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the revision or addition of certain sections of the Code of Ordinances which are based on or make reference to sections of the State of Indiana Code: and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Common Council of the City of Rising Sun, Indiana to accept these updated sections in accordance with the changes in the law of the State of Indiana.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Rising Sun, Indiana, that:
Section 1. The 2016 Supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Rising Sun, Indiana as submitted by American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, and as attached hereto, be and the same is hereby adopted by reference as if set out in its entirety.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its date of passage.
ADOPTED AND PASSED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RISING SUN, INDIANA THIS THE 2nd DAY OF November, 2017.
