(A) Pursuant to I.C. 36-2-9-18, the Auditor of the county is hereby authorized to collect a fee of $3 for each real property endorsement that the Auditor makes. The Auditor shall place revenue received under this chapter in a dedicated fund for use in maintaining plat books.
(B) From and after 1-1-1998, the custody and continued maintenance of the county plat records shall be with the County Surveyor.
