§ 156.537 PARKING AND STORAGE OF CERTAIN VEHICLES.
   (A)   Automotive vehicles. An automotive or trailer of any type without current license plates or in an inoperable condition so as to be deemed dead storage or an abandoned vehicle shall not be permitted on a lot for a period of 30 days other than in completely enclosed buildings and shall not be parked or stored in any district unless specifically authorized. See definition of “abandoned vehicle” in § 156.020 of this chapter.
   (B)   Commercial vehicles. The parking of a commercial self-propelled vehicle in residential districts shall be prohibited, except as set forth in § 156.621 of this chapter; and, provided further that, one commercial vehicle of not more than one and one-half tons capacity may be parked on a lot on which there is located a principal building; provided, such vehicle is parked in an enclosed garage, accessory building or rear yard in a location where it is not visible from public property (including) a street, and is used by a resident of the premises. This requirement shall not be interpreted to prohibit commercial vehicles from temporary loading and unloading in any residential district.
