(A) Civil action. Pursuant to I.C. 36-1-6-4, the county may initiate a civil action in a court of competent jurisdiction to restrain any person from violating a provision of this chapter.
(B) Monetary penalty. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provisions of this chapter may be subject to a fine in any sum not exceeding $2,500. The assessment of a monetary penalty shall in no way limit the operation of penalties provided elsewhere in this chapter.
