The membership fees of the following state governmental associations shall be paid from the general funds of the county to aid the elected officials in performing their elected office:
(A) Association of Indiana Counties;
(B) Association of County Commissioners;
(C) Association of County Councils;
(D) Association of County Assessors;
(E) Association of County Auditors;
(F) Association of County Clerks;
(G) Association of County Coroners;
(H) Association of County Recorders;
(I) Association of County Surveyors; and
(J) Association of County Treasurers.
