Any person who violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter or who, having obtained a permit hereunder, willfully fails to continue to comply with the conditions set forth in this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, may be fined in accordance with state statutes.
Any apartment failing to obtain and pass an annual inspection and permit to rent will have sixty (60) days for corrective action. If not corrected within the sixty (60) day period, the occupancy permit will be voided and notice to vacate premises issued on the apartment with suspension of utilities services.
