At the time an applicant applies for City sewer service, a service line installation fee shall be charged. The service line installation fee is to cover the costs incurred by the City in installing the sewer service line from, and including the sewer tap, the main to a point ten feet (10') beyond the edge of the street or alley right of way or easement line. The service line installation fee for the various sizes of service lines are estimated to be as follows:
4 inch sewer tap | $200.00 each plus 4 inch sewer service line at $10.00/linear foot |
6 inch sewer tap | $260.00 each plus 6 inch sewer service line at $12.00/linear foot |
8 inch sewer tap | $800.00 each plus 8 inch sewer service line at $18.00/linear foot |
Rock excavation | $100.00/cubic yard |
Repair of asphalt street surfacing | $12.00/square foot |
Said fees and costs shall be reviewed yearly and revised by resolution of the City Council so that said fees and costs adequately cover the costs actually incurred by the City in installing these service lines. (Ord. 543, 5-5-2009; amd. Ord. 2021-621, 9-2-2021)
