A. Supervision Of Water System: The public works director, under the direction of the mayor, shall be responsible for the supervision and management of the entire water system including the operation and maintenance of all supply, distribution, and fire hydrant facilities. B. Right To Turn Off Water: The public works director shall have the right to turn off the water at any point or to any place or building within the city when he deems such action to be necessary or when duly ordered to do so. (1980 Code § 4.6.6; amd. 1999 Code)
